چکیده
The characteristics of multifunctional polymeric hydrogel-forming microarray patches based on poly(vinyl alcohol)/poly(vinylpyrrolidone)/citric acid composite crosslinked at 80 °C were investigated. swelling study showed that this possesses a higher degree than the same polymer heated 130 due to lower crosslink density, which was then confirmed by FTIR examination. Solid-state studies revealed lower-temperature crosslinking does not provide enough energy for rearrange itself into crystalline form. However, shown possess acceptable mechanical strength insert/penetrate skin. patch can function both as means sample model hydrophilic drugs from skin and deliver them when combined with melt-type polyethylene glycol reservoir. interaction between hydrogel A drug diffusion coefficient, modelled theophylline (diffusion coefficient = 16.17 × 10-6 cm2/s), be delivered more efficiently fluorescent sodium 2.32 cm2/s) or cyanocobalamin 7.31 cm2/s). This is mainly theophylline’s high permeability (permeability 7.40 10-5 cm/s) weak ability interact (coefficient partitioning 1.3). These results indicated could useful predictive parameter determine delivery efficiency system. Furthermore, insight how select suitable monitoring involving compounds drug.

15 صفحه اولHydrogel-Forming Microneedle Arrays for Enhanced Transdermal Drug Delivery
Unique microneedle arrays prepared from crosslinked polymers, which contain no drug themselves, are described. They rapidly take up skin interstitial fluid upon skin insertion to form continuous, unblockable, hydrogel conduits from attached patch-type drug reservoirs to the dermal microcirculation. Importantly, such microneedles, which can be fabricated in a wide range of patch sizes and micron...
